FLIPPIN, Ark.— Ranger® Boats introduces the 618T, a boat designed especially for anglers fishing for walleyes and muskies in big water. The tiller version of the Ranger 618VS in the Fisherman Series, the 618T combines maneuverability, practicality and swiftness to provide tournament and recreational anglers superb walleye/musky fishing capabilities.
“The 618T is a great boat for Ranger to continue to expand its product line for the walleye and musky fisherman,” said Ranger Boats President Randy Hopper. “It has been designed specifically to meet the needs of multi-species anglers fishing big water. As with all our boats, we concentrated on making this model with high fishability, durability and premium quality.”
The Ranger 618T is 18 feet 4 inches in length, with an extra wide 90-inch beam. With a maximum horsepower rating of 90, the 618T is available with a wide range of precision matched outboard engines. Because the boat is tiller-steered, the console-less cockpit leaves plenty of elbowroom for the driver and passengers to fish.
With the angler always in mind, Ranger has provided abundant storage on the 618T. Large lockable compartments are located on both the deck and aft. On each side of the boat are carpeted rod storage boxes (one is eight foot in length, the other is nine foot in length) with rod organizers. In the mid-section of the boat there is an insulated cooler with gel-coat liner and drain.
There is both a baitwell and a livewell on the 618T. Each have recirculating aerated systems, filter screens and automatic timer. The livewell also has a pump-out feature.
Additional features include heavy-duty six-gauge trolling motor wire, on-board charger, 1,000-gallon-per-hour bilge pump, pultruded fiberglass transom and fiberglass stingers.
The custom fitted, single axle RangerTrail® trailer that comes with the Ranger 618T, features a specially designed swing away tongue, hydraulic surge disc brakes, exclusive RangerTrail® COOL hubs, matching fiberglass fenders, aluminum wheels, torsion axle, LED trailer lights and Road Armor® coating.
