Ranger Boats press releaseFLIPPIN, AR — After 27 years of manufacturing custom-matched trailers, Ranger Boats continues to set the pace for optimum durability and peace of mind with its RangerTrail brand. With one of the largest in-house trailer manufacturing facilities in the country, Ranger Boats has consistently led the industry by providing more innovative designs and exclusive features to its trailer line.

One of the first innovations introduced on RangerTrail trailers were the custom-made fiberglass fenders. Since the beginning, Ranger has produced these fenders in their own fender department and designed them to color match any boat. In 1995, closed cavity bag molding (CCBM) was introduced to create the fenders. This environmentally friendly molding process produces a more uniform part with less waste and a higher quality finish. Also in 1995, Ranger changed the fender to a sleek style that integrated the side bunks into the fenders. While the look has been distinctive, other manufacturers quickly copied the contemporary style lines, blended contour shapes, and additional functionality of the fender/bunks.

Other RangerTrail trailer models include even more major break-through features. Among those innovative distinctions is the proprietary Road Armor Equipped® trailer protectant, a rapid-curing coating made of a Polyeuro® compound that provides superior resistance to chips and scratches. This extraordinary coating encases the trailer frame to create a super strong finish while helping retain higher resale values and lasting peace of mind. Comanche and Fisherman models also include flush-mounted L.E.D. lights that not only provide brighter illumination, but also have greater impact resistance and longer life expectancies than other standard trailer lights.

Another innovative introduction for RangerTrail trailers has been the Contained Oil Orbital Lubrication (COOL Hub ) system that actually bathes the bearings in oil to reduce bearing friction and heat while sealing out damaging moisture. With the immediate success that followed, Ranger engineers applied this same innovative thought process to the trailer’s braking system. Utilizing the advanced performance and engineering of racing technology, the RangerTrail braking system benefits from significantly cooler caliper temperatures. For Ranger boat owners, the lack of excessive heat buildup on the calipers means even greater brake reliability and traffic safety. With the implementation of disc brakes as standard equipment on virtually every model, RangerTrail trailers have enjoyed smoother, quieter and more consistent braking in all types of weather and road conditions. The increased stopping power ultimately translates into stronger safety features and better overall value.

Other features on RangerTrail trailers include: a swing-away tongue for easier storage and additional security, custom-fitted, treated bunks to match individual boats for optimum support, steel conduit wire protection, Goodyear radial tires and a three-year warranty.

According to Ranger Boats President, Randy Hopper, “Each one of these trailers reinforces our long-standing legacy of quality and commitment to leadership. It’s a great indicator that our decision, over a quarter of a century ago, to manufacture the most innovative designs and quality features in boat trailers has been wholeheartedly received by our family of owners. From stronger customer satisfaction to higher resale values, our drive to excel is just one more way the Ranger Family continues to reap the highest rewards.”
