Title: Classic Registration forms.
Post by: dhuff on November 27, 2006, 05:39:19 PM
Has NBAA sent out the classic registration forms yet.  The director for the division I fished called and wanted to know if we were going and said that he would send them out very shortly.  That was over a month ago.  Just wondering if anyone else from NBAA got theres yet.

I got a form from my director back on the day of our Division Championship.  I sent it in but have gotten no response since.  I don't know if that was the registration form or not.  I would think you would have gotten that from the Director of your division.  My Director told me that I had to have that in to NBAA by Feb. 1st, 2007.

I wrote Jack Horning just the other day for the dates of the actual NBAA Championship because I wanted to make arrangements for accomodations for that week.  Accomodations will fill up fast because the tournament is the same week as Memorial Day.   Good Luck.

Well I sent an E-Mail to Jack at NBAA about it and I guess we should of gotten them a little while ago.  So he is going to send one to me and my partner right away.  That would of sucked to have missed this because of an error like that.  Why don't the directors give them out at the last tournament like all of the other years to negate these things.  Oh well all is fixed.  See you guys there.

I will take the heat for this one.  I did not bring the forms with me to the last event because we were not sure of who was going to the classic until we calculated with the results with the dropping of one tournament.  Well, to no fault of my own, I had work and family issue arise and before long I lost track of time in getting them out to you fella's.  I knew the deadline was February 1st and I did contact Jack to let him know I was behind to assure you guys would not miss out on an early registration.

Again, I apologize.  They were all sent out to the boat owners a couple weekends ago.  If you did not get one let me know.

Hey George,

I did receive mine in the mail a few days ago.  I just heard from Vic a while ago and he said shortly we would receive them.  Then I never got one so I didn't know if we accidently got missed or something.  And I didn't know when the deadline was to have them in.

So do you know how the division is going to go this year with the classic during May when we usually have a tourney at Orion?

Here is the tentative schedule for 2007 Motor City Inland.  We are running into a conflict with Paul Sacks Saturday tournament on July 14th.  We have not decided to move it at this time, but we may consider it.  we also decided on trying five different lakes this year.  As you see we added Pontiac.  We have heard this lake is making a comeback so we decided to add it to our schedule.  If any one as ideas or suggestions, please let us hear them.  I do have a little time to make some lake changes if I get enough anglers requesting it.

May 26th ? Lobdell (opening day)

June 9th ? Pontiac

July 14th ? Oakland

August 18th ? Orion

Sept. 8th ? Cass ? Pizza afterwards

Thanks,
GT

Hey George,

The schedule looks good.  It is kind of hard to change to many lakes due to the size of the lakes and boats the division is starting to draw.  I don't really think you can go wrong with those lakes they have been producing well in the last few years.  To bad we aren't hitting Orion sooner.  With all the big weights last year and numbers of fish brought in.
