Hey Guys,
I will have more info on this later, but I wanted to at least get the date out there. On August 18,2007 I believe at Cass Lk. in Oakland county(waiting on final approval) I am going to be running a fundraiser tournament for my kids school. l am hoping to get at least forty to fifty boats and the entry fee is going to be 100.00 per team. Big bass is going to be 10.00. As I said this is a fundraiser. We are currently working on sponsors and prizes but hope to be able to offer some nice prizes for the top finishers. I will put more details out after the 12th of Feb. which is our next board meeting at the school. It will be a pre-registration tournament with an entry deadline. I know alot of you have money tournaments you may have on your schedule but if you want to fish for some nice prizes and a good cause as well as a great time. I would love to see you there. Again I will have more info soon but wanted to give you the basics.
Thanks
What kind of school? What grade ranges are they? Will the kids be there so they can see who is supporting them? How about a "take a kid with you" tournament so they fell like they had a part in something positive?
Your just always thinking arent you Genie.
It's a curse ... I have to keep a notepad next to my pillow to write things down in the middle of the night ... How can I beat LGMOUTH? Why is he so lucky? Is the moon made out of cheese? ???
It is a small christian school in waterford. It is appropriately named Waterford Christian Academy. Some of the kids will be there as I believe in conjunction with the tournament they are trying to do a family fun fair with blow up slides, moon walks, etc... I know that some of the parents are going to be fishing with kids and mine is already voiced his dibs on fishing with me if I fish. It will be a good time and should be fun for all. Food, games, prizes and the weigh in to conclude the day. ;D ;D ;D ::)
I'll help/fish/direct ... wherever I am needed.
I will count you in. Thanks
Paul,
I know how your kid fishes and I want him to fish with me. He always lucks into a lunker. Or maybe it is not luck it is just that his dad knows were the big ones hang out.
Doubt it - I've fished with Paul ... ;)
OUCH!!!! That really hurts genie... The bidding for the boy starts now....
Bidding...!??! That gives me an idea!!??!
Do you think I'd be sued if I started... G-bay?
Seriously, sounds like a nice event, especially the kids fun thing. We'll be at Cass a couple weeks earlier for the Fish-n-Friends CrossRoads for Youth event too. Nice to see bass anglers taking care of the important things.
Hey Dan, maybe you will do well enough a couple of weeks before that you will want to come back and fish with us on the 18th. You and whomever are most welcome. Again, I will be posting somemore info as I nail it down.
