I would stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Indian River, nice place with an indoor pool!  Then you can launch at the Burt Lake State Park and either fish Burt or take the river over to Mullet.  The launch would then be less than 1 mile away from the Holiday Inn.  It's really easy to get too, right near the exit off I-75, exit 310.

Catch and release will be on but the official bass season will start that Saturday when you are up there.

I stay at alot of Holiday Inn's..they make you smarter.. ;D..some of us need all the help we can get!  :-\'

Thanks blakstr1 appreciate the info. I'll have to look in to that. The pool is very essential my wife and 2 daughters won't be in to staying in the boat for 8-10 hours but i guess theres alot to do up there. Thanks again.

Love the Brown Trout!!  always a good time...but for another REAL treat take the little jaunt (35 miles) up and over to Cross Village and visit Leg's Inn http://www.legsinn.com The best authentic polish food anywhere, hands down...plus its an all around cool place, where else can you eat at a table that is supported with elephant legs??  The name says it all.

Just a friendly suggestion  ;)

I'll try the Leg while I'm up there...........thanks for the info!

If you decide to check out the Pinhurst Bar on your own..........make sure you get a shot of penecillen first.........and that's just for the bar!!!   ;)
