Title: Montcalm & Mecosta Area Tournaments
Post by: Eric on April 26, 2007, 10:10:23 AM
It looks like I will probably be relegated to fishing the close to home tournaments this summer.  I don't know too much about the local tournaments, so if anyone knows of any trails in this area (Montcalm, Newaygo, Mecosta, Isabella, northern Kent, Ionia, etc), or trails who may visit this area, please share schedules, contact info, etc.  I know about Split Shot and NBAA, but that's pretty much it.  Thanks.

also the gander in Rivetown puts on a wed nighter on wabasis every week.... gets pretty crowded though.

Eric,

You can check out BBT @ www.bbtbass.com; Shoreline Bass Tour, Ed Opalek, I will have to get his # later.  101.3 The Fox has a tournament in August, see my post below.   Outlaw Bass Tour, send a PM to Outlaw on this site.  If I think of anymore I will let you know.

Eric,
the club formerly known as Boomer's/mecosta area bass club is still around.   try a pm to basscat74 for info.  i moved so i'm off the mailing list.  i think they are fishing mostly sunday afternoons.  I think Tony is running it now.
P.S.  are you fishing the NBAA on Hardy for the opener?

I will try that, thanks.

I am not going to hardy opening day.  I think I am going to Chippewa if I remember right.
