so Hook and Bullet sez there is a public access, I couldn't see it from the satellite map and on the DNR website they offer a topographical map, which usually means there is a public ramp. anyone ever fish it ? know where the access is ?
thx

The only launch i know of is for residents only. It is on crooked lake. Which is part of the same chain. Its been a few years since i was there though.
It's private... ::)
thanks guys....once again my belief is any natural body of water should have a public ramp....to bad our forefathers didn't have the insight years ago to do so.
Most lakes are public property as far as the water and the fish in them. You can help every time possible new land becomes available to purchase for a public access site. Ask the MDNR to buy it and support getting a ramp. They are almost always opposed so anglers need to be involved in the process to make sure a ramp is created.
I have fished it through a lakefront homeowner and my carry on Bass Baby plastic boat.
