Was wondering if any one uses or thinks a spybait is a good cold water lure. I know they were doing well on them in August with the warm water on St. Clair. Since they are worked so slow (excruciating if you ask me) that they may work this time of year.
I have read that they are.
That's one of the ideas behind them. I just haven't had a lot of time to use them yet in real cold water due to fishing other types of lakes mostly that time of year lately. I know many are whacking them on small swimbaits on long casts with a slooooww, steady retrieve. Same concept and the spybait might hook wimpy biting bass better?
