Title: tungsten is in!
Post by: thedude on May 01, 2008, 07:43:56 PM
tungsten is here... just got done sorting through a couple hundred weights by size. (whomever ordered the 1/16oz is a jerk btw ;D)
i'll get the orders ready for those of you who will be at the DK open this weekend and have them with me. If you want someone there to pick them up for you, please post here or email me before 6pm tomorrow, as i'll be leaving tomorrow night for the east side.

i'll work on getting the rest delivered or shipped out and received next week some time.

I ordered some of the 1/16oz weights, sorry.  I always lose track of the sizes over the winter so I just got 10 of every size.  If you end up with any 3/16 or 1/4oz I'll take them.

ahh dont worry, there were 72 of them - mixed in with 200+ 1/4oz and 200+ 3/16oz - so you weren't the only one! i think i need some glasses now though.

guess you could put 16 together and make a 1oz flipping weight.

Hey Dude,
Good to meet you at the DK Open. Thanks for getting us the deal on the Tungsten. I rigged one with a Carpenter St. Clair Crayfish and caught a few!!

Those weights were top quality, a lot better than I was expecting for the price.  I used them this weekend with no problems.  They even have the plastic insert.  They are indentical to trutungsten just without the paint.  I've contacted the wholsaler to get more if anyone needs more let me know.

Hey Dud,

I'll be passing through tomorrow a little after noon.  If you're not gonna be home, call me and let me know where you'll stash them (and not in the back yard under a pile of lab poop, either) and I'll stop and grab them.

Justin, it just didn't work out this week... work kept getting in the way!  No sweat really.  I'll get them from you next week when I get back.
