For a Captain who specializes in teaching, you might also want to talk to Capt Wayne Carpenter at 877-485-2223. Fishing information is his business.

That gives you a couple good choices.

If you can make it up to the Novi Ultimate Fishing Show this Thursday through Sunday, you can talk to Wayne about fishing. Never know where things might lead.

The other thing to keep in mind is our GreatLakesBass.com member's tournament this spring, probably sometime in May on Lake St. Clair. Open to all members and cheap to fish some really great prespawn action. Watch the DK Open board below in the Tournaments section.

Dan, its looking like my schedule will allow me to make the trip to Novi on saturday! That sounds like something I NEED to do.Its great because I play music at least twice a week AND work full time. The stars lined up for me and I will be headed north from sunny Cleveland and cant wait to say hello...in person.Good to be part of a community of fellow bass fishing nuts! Most women just dont understand... :D
See ya saturday,
Aaron Nichols

If you want a good (cheap) time on LSC, definately check out the member's tourny in May, just fished it for the first time this last spring, and although my CO (who I unknowingly had already fished with before) caught all of our keepers I had a blast. Nice to put a face to the names.
