Fished orchard this morn from 11-2. Made it off just before the storms hit. Caught 8 between 2 of us. Mix of smallies and largemouth. Almost all caught in 8-10 fow just on the break. A couple were caught shallow on the rocky flats. Water was very clear and temp ranged from 56-59 degrees. Bait of the day was sunfish pattern lipless crank. Tried other baits and colors but that one produced.
Smallest fish just over 13" largest was 17"
Went out again today. Wind was calm. Caught 3 smallies. one on a drop shotted senko, one on a sunfish red eye shad and one on a watermelon nest raider. All fish caught 8-10 fow again. Saw a lot of crusing fish just on the break. Lots of carp busting the surface.
