In desperation, I drove out to Round Lake the other day... hoping for open water, even if muddy and cold. No such luck... Only about 10-15% of the lake out from the boat ramp is open. The rest is covered by very slushy looking ice as far across as I can see from the boat ramp.
All the spot's I'd want to fish are covered, and not enough ice for ice fishing, of course. So, I guess it's "Bring on the Ultimate Fishing Show!" since I can at least talk about fishing.
The only seminar I have is the Ultimate Bass Clinic on Saturday. Better than nothing anyway.
I'll be in Booth 3054 when I'm not out visiting other booths for some exercise. That's in the front, right part of the building. I'll be next door to Wayne Carpenter and Xtreme Bass Tackle. You should be able to find me - I have a larger, new sign for this year that should stick out better!
Come find me. Tell me some fishing stories!
I might as well have an easy giveaway for two tickets to the 2024 Ultimate Fishing Show, January 11-14 in Novi at Suburban Collection Showplace. Let me think of a good way to award these tickets while I'm watching college football today. I'll post something.
