Post by: Waterfoul on July 01, 2009, 08:44:51 AM
Thanks again for helping me put the steering in my boat last night!!  Can't wait to try it out tonight.  No more sore shoulders and wrists from driving.  YES!!!!  Tell your neighbor thanks again too.

And the pizza was outstanding!

Hey Cy,
Can you describe your contraption for bleeding hydraulic steering. Plus where can you buy the Sea Star Hydraulic Fluid.

Thanks

Dan,

Check your other post under the boat section.  I just outline the entire process there.  You can get the SeaStar oil at most marine supply  places.  I know that West Marine in GR has it.  I don't know who carries it on your end of town.  I don't think Gander Mountain does but you can call.  I would also check Van's on Apline or Camp & Cruise in Marne.

Test run went pretty good.  There must still be a small air bubble in there as there seems to be one "iffy" spot in it now.

I sell the Sea Star fluid at West Marine.  In stock.  Stop on tomorrow and say hi.  Stop in Saturday around noon and get a free hotdog, chips, and a soda!
