Title: st clair boat ramps open ?
Post by: capt charlie's charters on November 04, 2009, 10:59:12 AM
looking for one more time on St Clair this Sunday, understand both the 9 mile and 11 mile ramps are closed for the season.  Metro Beach, Harley Ensign, and Selfridge the only avail ramps now ?  St Jean's any better as far as security for your tow vehicle ?

thanks
charlie

I don't know if St jeans is open or not but I launched out of there a few times this year with no issues..There was a security guard there every time I launched...

St. Jeans closed at the end of October. Their is a ramp at the end of Alter Road but I haven't launched their in a long time. I believe it is still open but would check before you go there.

The Clinton River Cut-Off (CRCO) ramp should still be open too.

This isn't even in the same zip code but the Algonac DNR ramp is open until December.  Just launched there today.
