Title: Nov 22, LSC
Post by: capt charlie's charters on November 23, 2009, 12:33:42 PM
Weatherman lies again, 55 deg and sunny was anything but.   ESE winds made for 1.5 - 2ft waves with an occassional 3 to keep you on your toes.  Water was murky with low hanging clouds for most of the day.
Pulling into the parking lot revealed only three other boat trailers, none of them bass, not a good sign.
10:05a first cast, 10:35a first fish, 2+ smallie on a dropshot worm, 8ft of water, 44 degrees, 60 yards out from the mansion (didn't feel like running around).  11:25 15" muskie also on the dropshot worm.  little later hit and lost a fish on a dropshot tube.  2:15 sun starts to break through, again 8ft of water and its another 2+ smallie on the dropshot worm followed by another hit/loss and it was off the water at 3:15.
Crank, chatter bait, jig head tube, jig head paca craw...nothing. didn't see another bass boat, 2-3 fishng boats and a bunch of freighters.

shoulda went to KENT!!!!!!

at least you got out tho.  i spent all weekend redoing the old garage.  Good news is its all done and Nemesis Baits is back in business in a state of the art facility that is literally 12 steps from my couch and a mere 18 from the fridge.  State of the art may be a slight exaggeration but its still pretty sweet.

Thanks to Joshimoto for doing most of the work.  A carpenter i am not.  Nor and i an electricion or an HVAC guy.  I pretty much bring the beers and do all the grunt work.  But it was fun.  Wonder if he is gonna come back to help me clean ::)

Thanks again for the invite Capt Charlie.  Wish i coulda wet a line with ya.
