GreatLakesBass.com is very happy to announce that Grandt Rods (http://www.grandtrods.com) is continuing for 2010 as the official rod of GreatLakesBass.com.
It is critical to the continued growth of this site that is free to you to keep existing sponsors of the site. I greatly appreciate all of you who did buy or check out Grandt Rods at the January Ultimate Fishing Show. Considering the site sponsors and giving them a chance to earn you business is what I ask politely of you.
If you bought some Grandt Rods (http://www.grandtrods.com) at the UFS or use them from previous purchases, I'd like to hear about what you bought and how you are or will use them. I own and use several myself.
Thanks to those of you who have bought them and thanks to Jim Grandt for continuing his support of GreatLakesBass.com.
Grandt Rods are made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty (http://www.grandtrods.com/grandtrods_warranty.htm). They're top quality rods covering all types of fishing that you do - freshwater, saltwater, all species from the small to very BIG!!

Thanks to Jim and Grandt rods for staying as a sponsor of this site. Also, thanks to Madwags for being here with your knowledge and helpfulness. I bought two rods at UFS. One for myself and one for Veronica. I got a 6'6' MH and she got a 5'6" MH, both casting, for crankbaits. Next we will be buying dropshot rods, and by spring we want heavy jigging rods. I am very very happy with the rods so far. They feel great. Cant wait to actually try them out.
Glad to hear it Mike. Thanks!
I picked up a 7 foot, medium action spinning rod at the show. I was amazed when Madwags thumped the piece of line tied to the end, and I could really feel it. Love how light the rod feels, and can't wait to use it this year. Been very tempted to fish for the wife's cat here in the house! But anyhow, the Grandt that I bought is a very nice rod, and I am sure I will probably end up with a few more relatively soon. And thanks for staying on as a sponsor for 2010! ;D
Cat fishing is good practice...
It is always a pleasure to help fellow GLB Members. I know you guys will enjoy those rods and are sure to purchase more after you fish with them and experience the sensitivity and quality of construction. Top that off with the best warranty in the industry and you begin to understand why my boat is full of them. Jim Grandt's Technology is second to none.
GreatLakesBass Members can still get special show pricing thru March 21st.
And as always, once you purchase a Grandt Rod at the discounted price, you are locked in at that wholesale price level and you never pay retail again.
