I went for my first time last fall but didn't get anything. For some reason I didn't see anything flying at all that day. I can't wait to try again though. We took my buddy's canoe way out in the middle of nowhere on public land.
talk to TheDude, he is crazy about waterfowl hunting

As often as i can usually hunt 1-2 times a week. Public land and some private corn fields. Its pretty addicting.
Used to. Got out of it when we lost our private land to development then started having kids. Getting antsy to get back into now though - still have all the gear.
mostly goose hunt now. to hard to find good duck numbers around here. No trouble finding geese though - only challenge is getting permission to hunt them! went in on a trailer last year with a buddy. rolling w/ about 9 doz full bodies now and a bunch of shells. have one good private swamp we picked up last year - as long as my buddy stays with his girlfriend we can keep hunting it LOL.
