Quote from: Chewy on March 18, 2025, 08:39:27 PMGot the prop back and it looks fantastic!  They had to add some metal to fill in some dings but you can tell at all.  Looks brand new.  It ended up being $160 which I thought was very fair.  Way cheaper than a new stainless.  I would highly recommend them.

Great to know. I had my seats recovered by Nautical Upholstery here in Lansing and they did an excellent job on those as well. Love it when you find a good company. I may have my prop eventually redone. It has a nice ding in it.

Good to know. I saw their advertisements but without a personal experience or experience from people I know and trust, I didn't want to recommend them over anyone else. I hope it goes great for you.

Volunteer schedule for the 2025 Ultimate Sport Show Grand Rapids. GreatLakesBass.com will be in booth 1929 next door to Wayne Carpenter, Xtreme Bass Tackle, at the DeVos Place in Grand Rapids. That's in the back right corner of the big room close to the Hawg Trough . Volunteers who help in the booth at least two (2) hours will get a free exhibitor pass to the show that is good for the whole show and cheap parking while you're working the booth.

You will get more details in the private volunteers area of the forum. You will be able to see it once I add you to the temporary show group. I need people who can talk to others in an outgoing, friendly fashion about joining the websites - mostly GreatLakesBass.com and GreatLakesIceFishing.com, handing out stuff and just answering general questions about fishing.

NO ALCOHOL in the booth. No sales of items in the booth.

This is only a 10x10 booth so please, no extra people behind the table who are not on the volunteer list. The schedule can be adjusted some to accommodate people willing to help who can't fit one of the existing time slots. I will setup the booth Wednesday. As usual, I need some extra help please on Saturday while I'm gone about 2 1/2 hours for the Ultimate Bass Clinic from 2:45PM to 5:15PM!! I also have a Hawg Trough seminar on Thursday from 7 pm - 8 pm. That one isn't a big deal for booth coverage as I'll be close by. At least stop by and visit. Keep me company! :) THANK YOU for your HELP!

It's about that time of year to start thinking about Lake St Clair and the smallmouth bass fishing.  My channel partner Jim and I only managed one day to get out there last spring. It was early spring before the smallmouth moved up.  Typical of St Clair you always seem to catch bass and have a great time.  Enjoy your morning coffee with some Lake St Clair smallmouth bass fishing.

I ended up finding a place in Grand Rapids.  West Michigan Propeller Inc.  I dropped it off and they said it would take 3 to 4 weeks.  Seems like they are busy so that's a good sign.  Guy who helped me seemed extremely knowledgeable.  I will let everyone know how they do.
