Well, here I am, another new guy on this forum. Live in southeastern Mich. Ypsilanti township to be exact. I know one and actually two people on this forum already. I like to fish any lake that I am close to. I am trying to fish Belleville Lake but only managed to catch one 3lb Smallie so far. having truck troubles lately and can't get the boat (04 Red Tracker) to the lake. Any one have suggestions for fishing Belleville Lake. Glad to be a member of this forum.

Thanks for joining! I too am in the broken truck club... but I have never fished Belleville Lake. There are quite a few people who do so a quick search on the forum for that lake will provide you with lots of study material too in past posts and fishing reports. Good luck with your studies and once again, thanks for climbing on board!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Reasonably sure that the best way to learn how to fish belleville is just keep going.  Most people I know that have had success there have fished it for years.  There's no weeds there besides the lily pads on the far west side so mostly have to stick to depth changes, points, and whatnot.

Welcome to the forum FishForever!! We're glad you finally found us. I have a lot if experience on Belleville. Do a search on the forum as djkimmel suggested and then feel free to PM me with any specific questions you might have.
