I have no plans to fish this weekend...unless I take my daughter out (she's really starting to show an interest...she's been out practicing her casts with her little Barbie pole and everything).

Where will everyone be fishing this weekend?

I'm fishing with the TBF group at Kent on Sat. Sunday I'm taking the wife to Heron or some other no-wake lake close to home.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Wrong blakstr1... wrong opener!!! Or are they having a paper tournament opener too now?

I hope to be - one of the two days this weekend - just outside of that new fallen tree in the picture under my General Fishing report from Sunday... possibly flipping a big ole lizard maybe... or, a wacky rigged X-worm?? I don't know yet.

Oh come on!!!  You can have a birthday anytime, but the first "legal" outing of the year is special!!!   ;D

Yeah, EBA is on Kent.  Captian Dan, you should join us!!!

I need to get my new electronics installed and get new line on all my rigs and get my tackle sorted and open the cottage for the season.  If I can find time I will probably go fish Croton or Hardy or some other Newaygo County jewel.  Oh yeah, I also need to do some work on my car too.   :(

I have to work this saturday >:(...I will probably run to Nepessing or Lakeville on sunday afternoon to test the boat out a little more.  35 MPH speed limit on Lakeville makes it a little tough, but at least I can jump her up on plane..

Waterfoul

Working all day Saturday.  Sunday I'm not sure yet... kinda depends on the weather.

I'm not sure where I'll be yet. I'd like to be on St. Clair but might settle for somewhere closer to home, maybe the Portage or Half Moon chain.

Rick, I was on Half Moon today, the dock is in and the water is higher than I remember it being in quite a while.

TBF group? Saturday at Kent?? What?

I guess it's the East Side Anglers ???

Ah yes, the EBA gang? I feel like Cfruel - but why are we still having things to do when bass season gets here? Poor planning? Or inefficient scheduling of tasks? I guess that is the same thing.

I'm hoping to get some trailer tires and put on my new brakes Friday - think the storms will allow that? Then, the weekend has many possibilities...
