Got out to the Hot Pond today at about 0800 to 1200 hours.? The run out wasn't too bad.? Wind was out of the Northwest at about 10 mph.? Waves were at about a foot.? I went by myself because my lovely daughter decided that her beauty sleep was more important.? I caught 27 bass and 1 sheephead.? Of the 27 bass...........12 were keepers including one that would have gone 4lbs and another that was even bigger yet.?

I caught all my fish on an assortment of crankbaits from Storm Wiggle Warts to Bomber 6A's to Rapala Shad RS's in all different colors.? I love catching fish on crankbaits.?

Water temp in the pond was 66 degrees and rising as the plant was generating today.? When I left at noon the temp was up to 70 degrees.? Water was more stained this week than last as the rain from Thursday and Friday took its toll.? Fishing slowed as the water grew warmer.? Had a good day none the less.?

Not as many boats in there today as there was last week.? Waves were running about 2 feet as the wind had changed to the east on the return trip to Bolles.

BD? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?;D
