Hey guys just wondering what ur thoughts were on all this rainy weather we have got this past week, and how u think it will affect the fishing opening day of c&r and Sunday? Thanks

Revtro

St. Clair will probably be a bit muddy, but there will be plenty of places to go to catch fish.

Ya live up north farther btween midland and houghton lake! So ill b fishing like wixom which has the tobaco river flowin in from the north. So I'm sure that will bring the murky water! Say that the bass r. In, will this rain push em back deeper or will they still b shallow?

Revtro

I'm guessing you can find some shallow.  I've never had a lot of luck in the Tobacco, but have done pretty well this time of year up in the main lake fishing some of the shallower points.  I'm not an expert though on that lake by any stretch.  There are few guys on here though that fish Wixom a lot.  Hopefully one of them will chime in.

In general when the water rises in the spring on a reservoir, bass go shallower.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
