By crankin smallies you just mean little fish right?  We can probably leave you off the Heavy Weight trophy, right?

Crankinsmallies

we will see I'm feelin good about this season.

Braidman

Should be a great season. We have some new boats joining us this year. The schedule does not conflict with many other events, which should hopefully help maximize our draw.

Nothing for Lake Mac this year?

Esox lucius

We are thinking of putting a couple together on Mac.  There are really no open dates that don't have a big tournament going on, so turn-out would likely be small.  Can't decide on doing Saturdays or a Sundays.  What dates would work best for you?

32eml24

I would say sundays, but I would do either.  The NBAA ottawa county 1 on 1 fishes Mac and the Grand on Saturday mornings, I believe.  Can we launch at Harbor Island for the Grand? I don't wanna be stuck in that river...  ;D

Braidman

144th street launch has been the preferred launch by the majority of the guys that have fished with us in the past, probably due to the fact that most of them fish the river. We have come up with some possible dates for several Mac tournaments. Esox and myself like to fish Mac, so we will see if we can line up a few boats to fish a few of them. If we are able to do a few on Mac, they would be the same entry fee and payout as our Grand River Opens.

dominater

I may be interested in fishing some of these tournaments.  How many boats did you draw, on average, last year?

Esox lucius

Last year attendance was down a bit.  We averaged 5-6 (max was 11).  The year before was 8-12.  We are planning on 8-12 this year and hoping for more.  We have 6 boats that have confirmed with us so far.  We ensured we scheduled around the big tournaments this year and with the BFL being on the Grand we are hoping to pick up a couple of boats for practice time.  That is one drawback to no membership, you never know how many boats you will get.  Hope to see you out there, there are some good sticks, normally need 12+ pounds to win it.

kgr624

I am another comfirmed boat  in. yellow nitro with a pp down in the middle of river hopin to snag a couple. Thanks should be fun
Your either getting better or worse you never just stay the same

macameron

how many confirmed boats are we at right now? I wont be able to make it to the one on the 12th but if this is read after the fact what was the turnout and or results?

Esox lucius

#13
We had 10 boats on Sunday 06/12/11.  3 other boats we were expecting had things pop up.

1st - 5 fish 12.24 = $200 + $50 big bass 2.65 (Jimmy and Kevin)
2nd - 5 fish 12.23 = $100 + $50 big bass 2.65 (John and Jay)
3rd - 5 fish 11.52, big bass 2.49 (Brain and Pat)
4th - 5 fish 10.97 (Gary and Mike)
5th - 5 fish 9.91 (Ken and Kyle)
6th - 4 fish 7.80 (Jason and Jimmy)
7th - 2 fish 3.03 (Doug and Mike)

No one else weighed fish.

Big bass was a tie at 2.65 between 1st place and 2nd place team.  That money was split $50/$50.

06/19/11 Results

1st - 5 fish 12.95, big bass 3.63 (Brian and Pat)
2nd - 5 fish 12.21 (John and Jay)
3rd - 5 fish 9.24, (Jay and Rob)
4th - 5 fish 8.30 (Jimmy and Kevin)
5th - 5 fish 7.63 (Ken and Kyle)
6th - 2 fish (Dan)

Heavy Weight Title
Brian and Pat = 11.52 + 12.95 = 24.47
John and Jay = 12.23 + 12.21 = 24.44
Jimmy and Kevin = 12.24 + 8.30 = 20.54
Ken and Kyle = 9.91+ 7.63 = 17.54
Jay and Rob = 9.24
