A friend has two chips for Lowrance he would like to sell (I have both in hand) each sells for $100 and he is looking to get $50 each

First is a Navianics Hotspots chip for Michigan

Next is a Lowrance chip "F8" for this area. It also comes with a nice shock-resistant, waterproof, floatable, easy-to-find bright yellow case that hold two chips

What is the "F8" chip?  It isn't a gold series map by any chance is it?

I was hoping it was the newer gold series stuff, but it looks like an older card.  It probably won't zoom in any more than the one I have.  Is the hotmaps one for inland lakes in Michigan?  What area does that one cover?
