Hi All,
I'm trying to find out what the material is that is used as the filter in the base of the fluid beds that are on the market. I want to make my own so I don't have to keep changing paint colors. It looks like all it is, is a 3" piece of PVC with some sort of hard filter that allows air thru but doesn't let the paint thru. Any idea or were to by this filter material???
Thanks for any ideas.

Coffee filter?  Air can come thru but I dn't think the powder will.
Got one!

I've heard of all types of things being used from layered coffee filters to vacuum cleaner bags. I just went with a downsize kit from 3" to 2" and use the ones from TJ's Tackle. They are $4.50 each which isn't too bad and they seem to work pretty well. They have some type of a hard foam in the bottom.
