Fished the Hoosier Pro @ St. Joe River, Maggies Launch. Out of 25 boats, 19 limits were caught. The winners had 8.38#, 2nd had 8.35, 3rd had, 7.85, and 4th (luckily us) had 7.71. Our fish were caught on tubes & wacky worms. Some were caught deep on ledges, others were caught under boats, and some in the open and/or on wood. We caught 9 total keepers. Luckily, after we caught our limit, all 4 keepers we caught afterwards, helped us out. I had the impression though, that if we would have targeted smallmouth on the seawalls, we would have caught them all day long. However, if you want to win a tourney on this body of water, most of you sack needs to be largemouth.

This body of water has been on fire all year, however, with the 6" of rain we received the past week, it was muddy and the current was much stronger than usual. The fishing was tougher than it has been, but as you can see w/ the limits caught, there were still a lot of fish caught. The big bass of the tourney was 3.5#. If you're wondering about the small limits, the size limit is only 12"
