GreatLakesBass.com forum member (and friend) Ben Felton called me tonight. He's made the top 20 cut on the boater side to fish tomorrow out of Cleveland on Lake Erie in the Stren Series event! He's in 18th place with 31-01 lbs.

He sounded happy, but exhausted. Could be two good surprises for him right now since he and his wife are expecting a little 'surprise' very soon.

Go get 'em Ben!

I see forum member Steve Clapper finished 30th.

On the co-angler side, looks like Jeff Harris finished 50th. Nick Neves 56th.

Not sure if I missed anyone else.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Well, despite a looonnngg run in brutal waves and equipment challenges because of the stuff Lake Erie can throw at you, Ben Felton was able to make the top 10 cut in the Stren Series out of Cleveland.

He had to use a loner boat yesterday and baby it to avoid any damage (don't want to return a favor with a Great Lakes-stamped boat), Ben finished in 10th place on the 4-day event with 21-3.

Quite an accomplishment - good job Ben!!
