Had our fifth tournament on Hamlin Sunday. Hurricane winds which makes the lake fish much tougher. My partner and I did okay, needed a big fish. We weighed five that went 10lbs. 2 oz. Winners had around 12 and a half. Culled but only could gain maybe a few ounces. Lots of keepers but they seem to be all 14 and a half. Had the balance beam going all day. Guys caught fish on about everything they threw from grubs, senkos, buzz baits, and slop frogs. Docks were good as well. Should have our teardropbass.com article out in a day or two. The Portage Lake in Onekama is on the webpage if anyone is interested.
