Hey all, I'm just trying to get a idea whom will be out on the lake (St.Clair) opening day ? I will be going out of Harley the morning of....

Shoot me a pm or post back here maybe we can get a few folks in the same area and slam them good....

This will be my wifes first year out  in the spring time. I can't wait to have her reel in some fish.. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather ...

Are you going to St. Clair or Erie??    ???    It's going to be a long run up to St. Clair from there.  About 24 miles to be exact.  I don't think she is going to like that long run.  If you are going to St. Clair, try Harley or the Spillway launch.  If you are going to Erie, Elizabeth Park or Erie Metro is your best bet.  If you are going to Lake Erie's Brest Bay, launch at Sterling State Park.  Save yourself some gas.  Save yourself some $$$.

I plan on launching out of Harley Ensign unless the weather and waves are to rough. If they are I'll probably just go to my little secret spot here close to home.

Have fun on the big water.   I won't know where I am headed until i drive out or the driveway.  Might look at Kent next week to see if the water has come up any.  Wolvarine could be fun also.  Only fishing 1/2 day then getting ready for Patoka.

I really need to fish other lakes besides St. Clair but it's 15 to 20 minutes away. That wind though I hate. In my neck of the woods, there is Oakland/Woodhall, Maceday/Lotus/, Kent, Belleville, Ford or if I head out 96 west more I can got to Woodland, Chemung and just one in my life i would like to fish the Pinckney chain of lakes for a week. Lakes, lures, line......... what decisions?????????

if its dry and not excessively windy on sat and the water stays clean, cy, myself and a few buddies are planning a convoy across the state. thinking harley to launch.  don't mind a little weather, just hard to justify the trip if its gonna get a little miserable out there... kinda like the day we fished after the last years DK open lol.
