Michigan's Marc Snyder Leads TBF Nationals!

Michigan TBF Member Marc Snyder of St. Johns, MI holds a 4lb 6oz lead at the TBF Nationals after day one today at Bull Shoals, AR.  Mark weighed 5 bass for 20lbs 5oz.  Marc was also credited with the big bass of the day a 5lb 14oz giant!  For pictures and update check out the TBF of Michigan facebook page.  TBF of MI president Dave Reault is down there now and will be posting pics.  Good luck to Marc!!!!

I'm not surprised. It was only a matter of time. Now, I don't think I can jinx him... Hope not. Go Marc!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

 imagine the presure u put on yourself when u finally get yourself in a position like this...there's no doubt in my mind that marc will get it done...this isn't his first rodeo!! :o

  but when u play at stakes this high the low can be......well low......

    fishing some bass and flw opens myself the last couple of years i found myself having a talk with "myself" that i have never thought about having in 13 years of tournament fishing.....the talk about if u put yourself in a "life changing position" and things end up not working out (because of your own fishing,losing fish,whatever) how to feel or act.....because those are hard bullets to swallow if something like that happens.......it's one thing if u come from behind and win, thats like a present, it's another to be in the driver's seat like marc is and have the wheels come off.......I am not prepared to see someone i know come this close to a life long dream and not close it......my money's on marc............

marc only needed 4 lbs and some change, he only had 1 fish for not enough..........a very valent stabb at a life long dream, i'm sure marc will try try again.........and he gets to fish the all american at the potomac this fall for $100,000!!!
