My family I heading to the west side of the state right between Pentwater and Ludington. I was wondering what the water temps are on any of the inland lakes around that area. We are staying on Bass lake but I might go try Pentwater Lake or even Pere Marquette Lake. I have only been on bass lake once before and never tried the other lakes around the area. Anybody been around those lakes lately?  Any info would be helpful, thanks

I was up on Hamlin last week. June 10th thru June 16th,  Water temp there was 71 degrees.  I thought the fishing was slow.  The Ludington daily news said the bass fishing was good.  lololol  Did pick up fish on spinners and jerkbates where the sand dropped off into weeds,  Where the depth goes from 3 feet to 5 feet.  Been on Pere Marquette but not much in the summer.

Thanks for the report. I have never been on Hamlin either but I think I will take one day to try a new lake. I will do some research and see what one has the best potential for some nice smallies
