I'm trying to find a place to stay for the upcoming RDT on the Grand River and everything seems to be booked and really expensive. Ya I know last minute in grand haven during summer on a weekend is not very smart. So you guys who stay there alot have any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Stay 15 minutes north in Muskegon. There are several little motels on Airline Rd in Norton Shores. They seem to be very popular with tournament anglers. Always packed with trucks and boats when a big tourney comes around. They are Alpine, Airline, and Belaire Motels. Nothing fancy, and cheap, I believe. Norton Shores is a good area, you don't have to worry about your stuff getting ripped off. Plus, all three are right off the highway to and from Grand Haven.

Team houston

check the courtesy motel also
