Checked my registration too. I'm in at Falcon and LSC. Won't know till I get my envelope in the mail if I'm in the top 50 to get a three day ride.

Talk about too far away...I've been looking at how I should get down to Falcon, drive or fly, and it is one long trek. Made hotel reservations because Zapata is such a small town the hotel, motels, will probably be swamped. Now we just have to decide which way to travel and which will require the fewer d's. I'm also considering applying for the new Cabelas here in Grandville. Hope they would be understanding of a ten day to two week adventure down to Texas. Somebody told me they are now taking apps there. I'll have to check that out today.

I signed up a friend of mine for him and he was not a BASS Fed member so he had to wait for the later sign up and he received his confirmation for 3 days at St. Clair today. My mail hasn't come yet. Should get the confirmation today. Woot, woot!

Remember what I said Dan... if you get over there and they find themselves short a person or two.... speed dial me and I'll drop everything!!

Dan

I have been to a number of them and have never been to one in which they didn't need someone last minute, but lately guys are there at the Wednesday meeting waiting to see if they are short at all. I would suspect if you wanted to get in there you'd have to be at the Wednesday meeting.

I'd be surprised if there are any openings for Lake St. Clair. But if there's any chance, you would need to be there at the earliest time you can check-in because I expect a line too.

Well, you all know where I work, and at that time of year I can't just take time off to "wait."  I could however take a day or two off on short notice.  Bummer for me I guess.

I've gotten to know Chuck Harbin quite well, and I'll make sure I talk to him to see if there are any openings when I get to the St. Clair Wednesday night meeting. I think he would let me know. He owes me a favor.

I got my 3 day confirmation while I was in Florida...Mailed the Form back today....

Blake I sent you an IM...

LAPORTE

Sounds good moto ... I sucks they frown on bringing a gps....lol

Dan

Bring a digital camera with a good size card in it and take lots of pics. On a lake like St. Clair pics really don't help too much to triangulate, but maybe you'll get one of the guys that still leaves his driver console GPS on and just take a pic. Most of them are on to that as well and don't leave their GPS on at the console. They get educated fast.  :o

Or... just enjoy the day and don't try to learn specific spots. Learn all the other, more valuable things that you can learn from the way they fish their tournaments? Spots change. Good fishing abilities last.

That is a fact.........Here today gone tommorrow, especially on LSC......

If I was smart I would just delete all my Waypoints every year and start fresh....

djkimmel

I've actually done that a couple times.

Not on purpose... but I've done it!!
