Has anyone seen this yet 44lbs out of Muskegon lake

Jmcfarland

I hadn't seen it yet. THATS ONE HUGE PIKE. What a whopper!!!
When was it caught?

LUMBERLEO

I heard that it was caught in November.

Hooksetter

That is a monster pike! What was it caught on bait-wise, line-wise etc? Is there an article any where on this?

Willie
Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Cheetam

I've seen this photo and story before.  From what I can remember, that is not Muskegon Lake (or any lake in Michigan) but somewhere in Europe.

Wow! It does kind of look like the guy is saying, "Jawohl!!" (instead of Yeah Baby!)

Plus! I think his jacket brand shows either 'Kabelas' or 'Das Bass' on it too.

Actually, I'm hoping it is out of Muskegon Lake... because about 18 years ago, I lost my lucky Bomber Ratl'r to a huge pike on the Bear Lake Flat and it just might be in the belly of this monster...?!?

(Hey... for a good time sometime, try searching for 'jawohl herr commandant' on the Net.)

I think thats the picture thats been on The Michigan Sportsman forum a couple times.

I think Mr. Cheetam is correct on it being caught in Europe.

LUMBERLEO

Figures, I knew it was to good to be true.  That guy does look European.  I was fowarded an email from like 15 people all of them going to muskegon lake loking for another monster like this.  ;D

I don't know if I should send them a reply or just let them go.
