?Coyote & Predator Hunting?

One of last year?s most popular sessions, Jason Zimmer is back to tell you how to call and hunt wily coyotes and other Michigan predators.

Jason will focus on calling Michigan predators and will share his field-tested technique of mincing coyote calls rather than ?squealing rabbit imitations.? Zimmer says, "We call deer with deer grunts and ducks and geese with duck and goose calls?why not predators too?" He adds that some make this too complicated and misguidedly try to use techniques developed for hunt predators out West. Presenter: Jason Zimmer

Lots of cool stuff, but a long drive for some of us.  We were over there last year, they have a great selection of baits at the shop...

Yeah - I don't get over there enough either. I hopefully will make the spring show. It's really a pain for me with the evening seminars. I'd like to offer to do some, but I'd be coming all the way over from Flint. Way too far to get there in time without getting out earlier than I can get away with much of the time.

We do have a number of members and readers over in that area though. Maybe we can get some reports from them later on how the seminars go.

I live in portage & run a restaraunt about 5 miles down the road from D&R i plan on going to most of the bass seminars and i will report. Ii would recomend going to the big spring show they have every year, usually in march, they always have great seminars and alot of great deals on boats & gear.

Listen to these east siders complaining about driving to Kalamazoo :) Us west siders have to buy vehicles twice as often because of our trips to St. Clare, not to mention always having to drive to Bass Pro for Presidents Mtgs. for the federation.
D & R is a great spot. Good selection and the seminar line up for the spring event is very good. They must have some kind of connection with those pros. Another sleeper spot for bass baits that has to be one of the smallest in square feet is Pilgrims Village on Lake Mitchell across from the state park in Cadillac. For its size, it has a great selection of competitive bass baits. If you stop there run acoss the street for a pastie at Mr. Fossie's Pasties. I'm getting hungry just thinking about them. My favorite part of fishing is quitting early to go eat :)
