Awesome new high-detail paper maps from Lakemaster

These lakes are updated in either high-def 3-foot contours or ultra-high 1-foot contours. You can bet these maps will be in my collection this year. I can never pass up a really good map of any lake I fish on!

It's even better when you buy their Lakemaster Pro chip for your Ifinder H2OC and it's all there  It's only $100 and gives you street level detail of all the roads in Michigan.

I've noticed that the inland lakes work well but on that chip the great lakes are not as good as navionics. Of course, maybe the satelittes were outta whack those days 

I'll probably buy the maps too, when the ice is over the lakes we need more latrine reading

I had the opposite experience with the Great Lakes.  I had both chips for a few weeks this summer and compared them on St. Clair and the LMPro seemed more accurate.  I wonder why you had a problem?  I wonder if it has anything to do with which GPS unit they're used with.

I have had some very odd GPS things go on for years on parts of Lake St. Clair. Never have figured out why. The Horseshoe sometimes seems like a GPS Bermuda Triangle when I'm in there.

I've rarely noticed odd GPS behavior anywhere else. Not sure how or why.

It will be interesting to see more comparisons on the various GPS maps. One thing I definitely like about Lakemaster (I use a number of their products already) is that they keep improving their maps to more detail and up-to-date accuracy. Michigan is one of the main states they are updating maps in too all the time, which is nice .

Not sure if any other map company is actively updating and improving their maps?
