New Member and already asking a favor. Can anyone tell me where I can get a good map seeing as how I have never been on either lake?

Welcome.

Both lakes are the enhanced version on the Lakemaster chip. They may have paper versions available, I'm not sure.

Look past what they want you to see.

go there, click on the county the lake is in, then the lake.. should be a decent map,, not all lakes are on there, but most are. derrek

I was hoping for a paper map.I have the chip but its nice to sit done at the bench with a cold one and try to find that hot spot. I looked at the DNR map last week and it was made in 1940 so its not to up to date.

Sounds like you might be fishing the Tear Drop. The Tear Drop fishes both those lakes almost every year.

Yea we are going to fish 2 or 3 of them this year on our open week ends. We like to see how we do on new tour. lakes. Their website seems to be down and I need a phone # so we can find out where to send our money.

Dan

The website is mine. I had to get a new web host and after shellng out 150 bucks I should have it back up in a day or two. You can pay at the tournament as long as you are there at six.  When the website comes back up be sure to read the Rules page. You'll find all you need on the site. There are probably old articles on the lakes you want to fish on the site. Both Portage and Crystal are typically big weighins. Our tournament director Dennis Cook lives in Ludington and his number will be on the site as well.
