Waiting for ice to thaw and organizing some tackle.  Can't figure out what brand these are.

No idea...?!? That is one weird jig...

I got a reply on bassresource..

It's a Megastrike Evolution jig.  Not sure when I picked it up, but will give it a try once things warm up.

It does kind of look like an alien or a transformer... guess the name sort of fits. Though... is it supposed to do something special? Or just look different?

Supposed to stand upright more reliably than other jigs.  Haven't tested yet to validate the marketing ....

"Winner of the 2006 iCast best new hard lure awad, the Evolution Jig is the first real innovative jig design to come along in over 40 years. Our NEW, Advanced Skirt Forward Technology, along with our virtually invisible Fluorocarbon Weed guard, makes this the jig of choice.

Evolution is the only jig to also have our patent pending flaring disk and skid plate. These qualities allow the Evolution jig to respond to every movement of the rod tip, continuing to keep the hook upright allowing for correct hooksets and keeping any trailers in an upright position making it more life-like triggering more strikes."

We'll have to wait for you product report!

PS: Does it come with a light saber?? I'm thinking we are only 3 to 5 years away from lures with some kind of photon device in them! :D
