I'm leaving Monday to drive out to Cayuga Lake to Marshal the Elite Series event. Anybody else headed that way?

Not me but say hello to Chad Pipkens if you see him. He needs a decent tournament to make the Bassmaster AOY Top 50 Championship in Escanaba!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I will certainly say hi to Chad. I also got to chat with JVD at Cabelas this week. He stopped in to pick up some trail cameras that were on sale. Leaving for Cayuga Lake tomorrow.

He could do well there too. It's our kind of water.

Arrived in Auburn NY. Probably 20 boats at our hotel. Meeting for Marshals tomorrow and I'll find who I will be riding with Thursday. Should be a great event. I like attending the last event. Everything is on the line! Had diner at Chilli's and Russ Lane and Cliff Prince sat in the booth next to us. Saw Bill Lowen's rig at BPS. Parked the Prius next to his rig. His rig probably gets 12 mpg. The Prius averaged 55 on our trip. Little over one tank, which is 10 gallons from Grand Rapids to Auburn. It doesn't pull a bass boat though, but for just here to there best car for the job if you are looking at gas mileage.

Be waiting for your report.  Always a great read.
