January 26, 2006 -- Brett Peters would like for anglers to consider ecology the next time they transport livebait from one region to another.

Peters is a Notre Dame graduate student working in Professor David Lodge's Department of Biology. He specializes in invasive species.

And while that includes things like round gobies, zebra mussels and other more notable non-native creatures, Peters has focused his attention on the rusty crayfish, a bad boy that is creating havoc in upper Midwest waters. Click this link to read the rest:
