Got home today and there are about 1000 small minnows around my dock.  They look like perch but could be walleye fry.   Searched online but see no planting info for this year.  Anyone know where you can find info

Waiting for the Blue Herons to show up.  They used to snack on the trout when they planted them.

Michigan.gov/dnrfishing and search for fish planting. Or... just go here... http://www.michigandnr.com/fishstock/

Walleye fry are out and about right now on some lakes. Do you already have perch and/or walleye in the lake? They could be naturally occurring.

We saw tons of them on Hardy Dam Pond Saturday in one area. Looked like tiny walleye more than anything but it's hard to tell without capturing some. Pike and walleye spawn shortly after ice out.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
