Any one ever see these? I am thinking about ordering some to check out. Those things look incredibly real.

Eric

I saw them in one of the catalogs before I went to LSC for the TBF.  I thought they looked pretty cool, so I was going to get some to try when I got there.  I counldn't find them.  Not at Lakeside, Gander, Dick's, or BPS.  They still look cool and I still want to try them.

I think it would need a 3/8, 1/2 or 3/4oz head to actually get down to where it could mix in with the other gobies.  1/4oz might work in shallower water on calm days with no current, but that is the main reason I haven't tried one.

You would think Cabela's would stock them wouldn't ya? As of 2 weeks ago they didn't...

They do look good!

Much too light in my opinion.  If they come out in something closer to 1/2 I will give it a whirl though.
I am a pre bred mix between a ninja and a polar bear.  A truly deadly combination.

BPS has them, they are with the swim baits over by the electronics counter.  They are big baits with plenty of room to add weight, I have used nails.  The culprit goby w/goby jig head is the one though, streamlined so it gets down deep but a $3.49 a piece they are pricey.

I've been thinking about them only being a quarter ounce and how to add weight to them. I thought about rigging them on a carolina rig just to get them down in 20+ feet of water without having it 100 yards behind the boat. I'll order some and do some experimenting. Ohio TBF has 2 more tournaments on Erie that I want to use them in.

I was a Cabela's 2day and they do have the Storm Gobies now...

If your a drift sock and dragging guy I like the thought of the C-rig.  Good thinking.  I am not really one to just drift but I think that rig would work in those conditions.
