I am looking for a free download Lake St.Clair map and Detroit River map.
Anybody know where I can download one? I will buy one when I make my trip up there in mid September. Also for fishing in mid Sept. do you recommend buying a Canadian and Walpohol Indian Reservation license also?
Thanks,
Dave

You can download the NOAA charts for the river and lakes here:

http://nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/mcd/Raster/index.htm

They have a section with some free viewers as well (I like Fugawi).   There are multiple charts with varying zoom levels of St. Clair, St. Clair River, Detroit River and mouth, and Lake Erie.
