Fished Hubbard on Saturday and caught 7 with the biggest going maybe 3.5. Fished shallow & deep but was only able that manage to get all the fish deep on dropshot & jigs. Water temp was 52. Decided to fish VanEtten in Sunday and did better for bigger fish. Ended up with 3 over 5 lbs and several smaller fish. All the fish came shallow, 2-5',  on points close to deep water, 25+ feet. Caught them all on 1/2 oz. football jig. Also caught too many pike to count and should have switched from my jerkbait earlier, especially after losing my favorite jerkbait to Mr. Toothy within the first hour.

'Mr. Toothy' has liked me way too good this year also, and I don't appreciate it!

Glad you caught some big, nice bass to make up for it though. That sure makes it worth anything!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
