If you want to catch a drum, fish a jigging spoon. Anything flashy snapped off the bottom and you are in business. Muskie? don't try to fish for them and you will probably catch one.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Believe me those toothy fish really fight good, and just hope you don't get one using a spy bait or another HIGH DOLLAR bait on 8 lb line :) :). My buddy last year get about a 4 foot on 8 lb line all he wanted was his spy bait back 8)  Let me tell you guy y'all got a wonderful smallie lake and really enjoy it and always use catch and release.  Please protect it and are losing so many of our lakes due to mismanagement, crazy laws that harm the lakes,  Y'all keep pushing for DNR good regulations.  Hats off to Dan for doing so.  ** Now it you want some toothy fish go to the Selfridge Area and South towards New Balitmore and throw a Spinner baits in the dirty water. Son  you will catch em. Advise get you a cheap pack of coastal leaders or you better own stock in a spinner bait co. :)
