As predicted the South Shore was loaded with aggressive bass.  Got out today at 9am.  Launched at St. Jean and headed straight to the South Shore, located rocky bottom and it was on.  My partner Mojo was rocking them right out of the gate with 2 smallies on his first 2 casts.  We were catching them steady every 10 minutes or so with a mixture of small fish to several in the 3lb range and a couple in the 4lb range.  As the day progressed, it seemed like lure color and water clarity were playing major roles.  We ended up doing well near the demarkation of clear to stained water.  The color seemed to be slightly brown with some blue that did the best in dropshot baits.  Mojo was doing better than I was doing till near the end of our day I decided to break out the Ned Rig which I had not thrown due to the rough and fast moving water.  But I decided to give it a try and quickly caught up in the fish count.  I'm sure we boated around 30+ bass before we got off the water at 1:30.  I call that a darn nice day.  It was great to be back to fishing the Canadian side.  The fish there are so much less pressured which makes them a lot more aggressive.  I'm having an inner-ear thing I think and was nauseated the entire day (and still am), but I still had a great day of fishing with ole Mojo.

Did you see any FLW boats.  Today was there last day of practice.

Revtro

Yep, we saw many of them.  Several launched at St. Jean.  We fished around a few of them all day.  Or should I say they fished around us.   8)
