Lake Oakland

Been a few years since I was on Lake Oakland. Heading there Sunday morning. Anyone been there recently? How's it fishing lately?

We fished there Thursday morning.  We fished deep and only caught 2 keepers in 4 hours.  But the winners had almost 16 pounds.  Big bass for the day was over 5 pounds.  Most fish were caught shallow on docks and cruising.  Guess we didn't get the memo.  You can go upriver to Woodhall lake.  There was a nice smallmouth weighed in from there.   Have fun.  Hope the Wakeski and Waterski boats don't chase ya off.
