Am new to this site, so sorry if this post is in the wrong spot!  I live in central michigan and love to bass fish but i do not have a bass boat or any boat to go!  I was wondering if any one on here would want to take me this spring? I am willing to drive an hour to hour and half away from my house, and will help pay for gas for the boat if needed!

Where are you in Mid-Michigan? I'm always looking for a backseater

I get out a lot too and end up going by myself a lot, sometimes in the mid-michigan area so let us know where you are so maybe we can meet up next year.

Edit: Also Dan recently added a new area to find a fishing partner: http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?board=81.0

Welcome aboard korean_bassmaster! Don't miss the chance to fish the forum members tournament sometime next May on Lake St. Clair either. Watch the DK Open board below under the tournaments section. Inexpensive event open to boaters AND nonboaters. I try to match everyone up who wants to fish. The fishing on Lake St. Clair in the spring can be fantastic. Usually, everyone catches bass (and other fish).

Hang out here and meet new people. Best way to find new fishing partners.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I consider myself a central Michigander as well and have been known to catch a few fish here and there.  Where are you?  I'm sure you won't have trouble finding someone who wants to go fishing.  I am always looking to meet new people and make new friends.  Especially the ones who teach me how to fish.

thanks! ya i most def will look at the tourny page. i live in gladwin, if that helps anyone in the area! there are two lakes bout 30-45 min south of me call wixom and sanford lake that have monster smallie! my profile pic is from sanford lake, just to sho a glimps at the lake!

cr

Hey KB, those are two great lakes ,I love em both . I like to fish them during the week to avoid the pleasure-boat traffic . If you can get away during the week maybe we can meet at one in the spring time .

korean_bassmaster

hey cr! ya that sounds great! when ev me and my friend used to go there always was a bass tourny on wixom, it would neva fail!  a couple years ago me and the same friend did the ice out tourny on wixom and took ninth or tenth out of twenty two! during practice we both caught a smallie that had to weigh bout 4 1/2 pounds, and i missed a 5-6 pound large mouth during the tourny! but ya they are both great lakes.   this past summer/fall me and the same friend went to sanford and killed them on the dam side of the lake! we caught 22 bass and at least 14 were tourny keepers.  and that was the first time we had ever fished that lake!
