Anyone else watch this guy?

I'm not one to be big fans of any of the Touring Pro's. Nothing against them I just don't follow any specific person.

But after watching the replay of the NY even on Erie last year and this guys attitude, (and performance) I've got to say I'm a BIG fan. He really was a humble victor IMO. Truely appreciated the position he was in....

Anyhow just wondered if anyone else caught that event on ESPN and what others thought of him?

If this disussion is old new sorry.

The guys got talent, that's for sure.  And, I like his style.  Last month, he had a free give-away on his website.  Supposedly all you had to do was send him an email, ask a question or two, and you would get "some free, high-end Japanese tackle" (still waiting to hear back from him, although I'm sure he got a ton of emails).  It wasn't too clear whether it was a drawing or what, but it is/was a good idea (and way to drive traffic to his website).

McCarter

He is cool.  I want to drink beer with him and talk about the old days.

McCarter himself :-X

He did a good job in that wind. I'm to old for that kind of fun anymore. Does anyone know where I could find that ped. seat he was using? It looks like a good leaning post.

I don't, but check out the one that Al Lindner uses as well.  I called him up a couple of years ago.  They told me the seat he uses, but it was out of my price range at the time.  The guy I talked to told me that Al has a bad back (at least I think he told me that) and when he orders his boats from Lund, they come with that seat.  I don't think the seat itself is made by them, but ......
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Ebond, wait a few years when the balance goes somewhere. I hate to sit but if I didn't have a leaning post I would probably be spending most of my time swimming with the fishes. His seat looked like it would be perfect if I could find out who makes it.
