Well Lake Erie isn't really new to me,I fish it all of the time. However, this year I would like to try a few new locations on Erie I've never fished, like out of Monroe, and the north shore in Ontario.I would also like to fish the lower Detroit River for bass,I should be able to fish all of these, can't wait!

I am going to try Secord, I wonder if there is big bass in that lake?

Hooksetter

We're gonna hit Green and Duck lake by Interlochen. Me and my buddy both have family close by but have never fished either one. We are gonna try to get to GTB also.

Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

I want to fish Hamlin and GTB.I have only started fishing new waters last year.I fish Pentwater,Hart, and the Grand river system all the time.I am finding the farther north you go the better it gets. The only thing that limites me is my boat.I have a 14 foot alu.But it's better than nothing.Oh by the way I'm new to this site and have already learned alot. Thanks Dennis.

I plan on fishing Torch Lake, ive been out there tons of times but have never fished it. My family has a place on Clam and  i usually just fish there. If anyone has any ideas on where to start out there let me know.

The_Anvil

I am going to try south lake this year.  We fish north lake alot and the structure looks good.

Look for boulders on the deeper parts of the flats. Smallmouth bass like the boulders! Once you find where some of the bass are earlier in the season, start checking the deep drops near those same areas.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Well, I "crappie" fished one of the lakes on my list Tuesday.  Managed to "accidentally" catch a 5 lb smallie on Gull Lake!!  And actually we did try for some crappie... we could see some absolute SLABS... 12" fish at least.  Couldn't get them to take anything we offered.  Water temp:  A chilly 39 degrees!!!  BBBBBRRRRR!!!!!
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!
